Simplicity Sewing Pattern 6539 Boys' Unlined Jacket, Pants, Pockets, Zipper Front, Button Front, Size 8, Cut, Vintage 1974

Boys' Unlined Jacket and Pants:  The top-stitched, unlined jacket with yoke, forward shoulder seams and lower band has notched collar, long set-in sleeves eased to buttoned or snap fastened cuffs, front button or snap closing and turn back cuffs have fly front zipper, front yoke and pockets and button or snap fastened waistband worn with a purchased belt slipped through self fabric carriers.

Sewing Rating: Easy

Fabrics: Denim, burshed denim, corduroy, suedecloth, canvas, duck, poplin, chino, lightweight wool, wool flannel, tweed, garbardine, double knit.  Unsuitable for obvious diagonals. Allow Extra fabric to match plaids or stripes. Use Nap yardages/layouts for pile, shaded or one-way design fabrics. * with nap **w/o nap.

Notions: Thread. Pants: 5" zipper, one 1/2" button or decorative snap fastener, belt. Unlined Jacket: Ten 1/2" buttons or decorative snap fasteners. 

Condition: This pattern is complete, with instructions and all pattern pieces accounted for. It has been cut and gently used.  The envelope may show storage and shelf wear with nicks or tears. The pictures are of the exact item you will be receiving.

Shipping: Orders are shipped within 1-3 days. Canada shipping is Letter mail or Expedited depending on the size and weight of the item and the destination. All items are sealed in plastic and placed in an envelope for safe travels. If multiple items have been purchased fees are adjusted and overages are refunded.
