Simplicity Sewing Pattern 6388 Misses' Dress, Unlined Jacket, Shoulder Straps, Size 10, Cut, Vintage 1974

Misses' Short Dress and Unlined Jacket (Approximate Length of Short Dress is 37").  The V. 1 and 2 dress with flared skirt stitched to gathered bodice has back zipper, band, "sweetheart" type neckline and shoulder strap cross in back. V1 has contrasting band and shoulder straps.  Bolero type jacket V. 1 with short set-in sleeves gathered to armholes features contrasting sleeve and jacket bands. 

Sewing Rating: Easy

Fabrics: Cotton broadcloth, sateen, chambray, chintz, muslin, pique, challis, printed silk, crepe, jersey.  View 1 dress and jacket also in matte jersey.   Unsuitable for obvious diagonals. Allow Extra fabric to match plaids or stripes. Use Nap yardages/layouts for pile, shaded or one-way design fabrics. * with nap **w/o nap.

Notions: Thread. Dress View 1 or 2: seam binding or stretch lace, 14" zipper. Unlined jacket; Bias seam binding. 

Condition:  This pattern is complete, with instructions and all pattern pieces accounted for. It has been cut and gently used.  The envelope may show storage and shelf wear with nicks or tears. The pictures are of the exact item you will be receiving
